From a long line of stylist comes me... none other than the daughter of the Hair Goddess. Not the only daughter, there are others, but the one following closely in the footsteps of the one and only, Alex "Hair Goddess". I was the luckiest girl at school! I always had the best hair, the best updos for dances, make up, clothes, and the house everyone wanted to get ready for prom at! I was the officially unofficial assistant, with benefits! I grew up cleaning the studio, washing towels, tearing foils, holding color bowls, mixing color, and my favorite... hearing all the gossip of the studio! The benefits came after hours... while the Hair Goddess was out, I would be busy at work foiling friends hair, making blonds into brunettes, attempting haircuts I'd seen a thousand times, etc. So, I became pretty good for just watching. Now, I perform hair magic daily, still doing much of the same thing... watching closely and making women beautiful all over Hampton Roads. I still get the gossip around town, but know how to say "Oh, really? She never said anything about that" just as convincingly as I always have. It's important to keep every detail under strict confidentiality! Lesson #1, according to the Hair Goddess!
